NATHANAEL S. TAPSOBA is a graduate of Metropolitan College of New York in emergency and disaster management and business continuity (natural, technological, and human disaster). He has also completed several training courses at the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
Committed to the cause of Community Resilience, he has broad military training and extensive experience in matters pertaining to security, with the New York City chapter of the American Red Cross, and in Human Services, pertaining to family resilience. In recent years, he has worked with African nations in the areas of prevention, planning, and mitigation to help countries prevent and reduce disasters and improve recovery. Through training and awareness of the realities of the moment, Butana International seeks to better understand the problem of climate change and past, present, and future disasters. Through actively participating in initiatives to reform ecological policies and protections, the environment, and natural resources, Butana International is actively working to improve the resilience of underserved countries and communities. Born in the province of Sanguié, Burkina Faso, Nathanael S. Tapsoba has lived in the United States since 2007.
